What is small RNA gene editing technology?

Small RNAs are < 200 nt (nucleotide) in length, and are usually non-coding RNA molecules (Storz G, 2002). Small RNA gene editing technology is the application of small RNAs in gene editing, through which some cells can make discrete changes to specific nucleotide sequences within a RNA molecule after it has been generated by RNA polymerase.
