Hello, everyone！We are Team OUC-China. In 2020, Our team is composed of eight undergraduate students from various majors, including life science, biotechnology, ecology, food engineering, aquaculture science, chemistry and logistics management, and each one plays a specific role in the whole project. This is the 10th iGEM trip for our team, and we are still full of love for iGEM and synthetic biology, hoping to bring it to the general public so that more people can know about such a subject with infinite possibilities in the future.

Due to the epidemic situation, we could not carry out our experiments, so we stay at home and discuss issues related to the project through online conferences to promote the development of the project and do some preparatory work such as experimental designing, modeling designing, online human practice and so on.

We always look forward to making our project close to our lives. Based on the public's interest in information processing, we started to have a further thought. Although the computing power of biological computer is still difficult to surpass that of electronic computer, biological computer has higher biocompatibility and biosecurity. Also, it can work in wet environment such as our bodies. We see the great potentialities so that, this year, our project will design a series of logic gates as a combination of synthetic biology and computer science which serve as biological computer.
