I’m glad to join the Cloud Scientist Community!

Hello everyone! I have successfully joined Cloud Scientist program!

I’m Damian Holsinger, Head of the Laboratory of Molecular Neuroscience and Dementia at The University of Sydney. I received my doctorate in Molecular Neuroscience from The University of Melbourne, Australia.

My laboratory focuses on understanding the molecular underpinnings of neurodegenerative diseases, in particular Alzheimer’s and identifying therapeutic avenues for these devastating diseases via repurposing strategies. Our research interests have also recently embodied the field of Biomedical Engineering where current research in the laboratory is investigating the modification of biomolecular scaffolds for therapeutic purposes.
