Hello everyone,
Can anyone recommend a plasmid that has dual expression in both mammalian and bacterial systems, ideally with inducible transcriptional control? Currently doing everything in parallel and looking to save time and money in the future by combining all the cloning into a single step.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Hi John, in my opinion, it's hard to have a plasmid that can have high expression level in both mammalian and bacterial systems. The codon table and conditions are different in two systems. If you just want to contain all parts in one plasmid, you can try to find a supplier (e.g Genscript) to synthesize all the parts and clone into a backbone. Hope my answer helps.
