Why do foods get moldy and go soul?

Mold is a fungus, where the spores are everywhere. To grow it needs any organic condition like water, food and suitable temperature and food is the perfect place for it and it grows in damp, dark and cool condition. When the mold spores settles onto a damp food, they grow into mold. These food mold grows in different form like blue-green powder or grayish white fuzz. Some of the molds can cause allergic reactions and respiratory problems that can make us sick.
