Blog2Vid Review: My Experience Creating Animated Videos From Articles

If you already have blog articles but struggle to turn them into engaging videos, you know how time consuming the process can become. Writing the article is one thing. Turning that same content into a video with visuals, narration, music, animations, and a structure that people will actually watch is another.

That was the main reason I decided to try Blog2Vid.

Instead of starting every video from a blank timeline, Blog2Vid takes an existing article and uses AI to plan the visuals, create the video, add voiceover and music, and turn the written content into a finished video. The official information also says that you can start by pasting an article URL, making the process much simpler for someone who already has published content.

I used Blog2Vid for a full week to see how it would fit into my normal content workflow. During that time, I focused on taking articles I had already created and turning them into different types of videos instead of treating Blog2Vid as a completely separate content creation process.

Here is what happened during my experience.

What Is Blog2Vid?

Blog2Vid is an AI video creation platform designed to transform written articles into videos.

The basic workflow is straightforward. You provide your article, Blog2Vid reads the content, plans suitable visuals, generates the visual elements, animates them, and produces the finished video. The platform also handles voiceover and music through its AI tools.

What interested me most was the ability to reuse content I had already created.

Normally, if I wanted to turn an article into a video, I would need to prepare a script, find images or footage, arrange everything on a timeline, record or generate narration, add background music, and then spend more time fixing the pacing.

That process can easily turn one article into a much larger project.

With Blog2Vid, the idea is different. The article becomes the starting point and the software handles much of the video production process.

The platform also supports several video formats, including animated reels, slideshow style videos, animated videos, and spokesperson style content.

Why I Decided to Try Blog2Vid

Before using Blog2Vid, my biggest problem wasn't coming up with article ideas.

I already had written content.

The problem was getting more use out of that content.

An article can sit on a website and bring visitors through search, but I wanted another way to present the same information to people who prefer watching rather than reading.

Creating every video manually wasn't practical for me.

I also didn't want to spend hours learning complicated editing software just to convert an existing article into a basic video.

This is where Blog2Vid made sense for my workflow.

Instead of asking myself, "How do I create another video from scratch?" I could start with something I already had and turn it into another format.

That small change made the process feel much more manageable.

My 7 Day Blog2Vid Experience

I wanted to use Blog2Vid consistently rather than judging it after creating one video.

So I spent the first week experimenting with different articles, formats, narration styles, and video structures.

Here's how my experience progressed.

Day 1: Getting Familiar With the Workflow

On the first day, I kept things simple.

I started with an article that was already written and used it as my first project.

The main thing I wanted to understand was how much work would actually be required after importing the content.

The initial workflow was easier than the traditional process I was used to. Blog2Vid is designed around the idea of taking the written material and turning it into a visual presentation instead of requiring the user to manually construct everything from the beginning.

My first goal wasn't to produce a perfect video.

I wanted to understand the workflow.

By the end of the first day, I had a much clearer idea of how I could use the platform as part of my regular content process.

Day 2: Turning More Articles Into Videos

On the second day, I started working with additional articles.

This was where the concept became more useful for me.

Instead of thinking about one article as one piece of content, I could think about it as the foundation for multiple formats.

The article could remain on the website while the video could be used separately for video platforms or embedded alongside the written content.

I also experimented with the different presentation styles available through Blog2Vid.

The platform specifically lists formats such as blog readouts, spokesperson readouts, shorts, and summaries.

That gave me more flexibility than simply creating one long video from every article.

Day 3: Improving the Visual Presentation

By the third day, I was paying more attention to the visual side.

The biggest difference compared with writing an article is that video needs movement.

A block of text can work perfectly well on a website, but watching someone simply read paragraphs on screen can become boring very quickly.

Blog2Vid's approach of planning visuals around the article helped solve that part of the problem.

I started paying attention to which articles worked better as animated presentations and which ones made more sense as slideshow or spokesperson style videos.

That was probably one of the most useful parts of my testing because I stopped treating every article exactly the same.

Day 4: Testing Voiceover and Music

On day four, I focused more on narration.

One thing I wanted to avoid was having to separately create a voiceover and then manually synchronize it with the video.

Blog2Vid includes AI voiceover and music as part of its video creation process.

This made the overall workflow feel more complete.

Instead of having separate tools for the article, narration, music, visuals, and editing, more of the process was handled inside the same platform.

That reduced the number of steps I needed to think about.

Day 5: Creating Videos From Content I Already Had

Day five was when the original reason I wanted to test Blog2Vid became much clearer.

I had several pieces of written content sitting there already.

Previously, creating videos from those articles felt like another project.

With Blog2Vid, I could take those existing pieces of content and turn them into video projects.

This changed the way I looked at older articles.

Content that I had already spent time creating didn't necessarily have to remain in one format.

I could repurpose it into video and potentially reach people who would rather watch the information than read the entire article.

Day 6: Building a Repeatable Content Process

By day six, I wasn't thinking about Blog2Vid as a tool I would use occasionally.

I was thinking about a repeatable workflow.

Write or publish the article.

Choose the article that makes sense for video.

Turn it into a video.

Review the result.

Make any necessary adjustments.

Then publish or embed the finished video where appropriate.

That workflow was much easier for me to understand than creating every video independently from scratch.

It also made the idea of producing more video content feel less intimidating.

Day 7: My Overall Experience

After using Blog2Vid for seven days, I had created a much clearer workflow around my existing articles.

The biggest benefit for me wasn't simply that it could make a video.

It was that it helped bridge the gap between written content and video content.

I didn't have to treat video production as an entirely separate creative project every time.

That was the problem I wanted to solve when I started testing Blog2Vid, and after a week of using it, I could see how it could fit into my regular content workflow.
