Anyone else prefer smaller, niche sites to the mainstream ones?

I've been thinking a lot lately about how much I prefer smaller, more niche online spaces compared to the gigantic mainstream platforms. It feels like the bigger something gets, the harder it is to find genuine connection and content, you know? I've noticed it everywhere – social media, streaming services, even adult content or free porn. Does anyone else find that the smaller the community, the better the overall experience tends to be, or am I just a weirdo?

I absolutely agree with you! Sometimes the huge sites just feel so generic and impersonal. You end up sifting through tons of content that's not really your thing, just to find a few gems. I was looking at some smaller German sites recently and found some surprisingly good free porn that would probably get buried on a bigger platform. Smaller sites tend to be curated, and that really helps. It's a better experience to find a place that understands what you like and keeps it front and center.

The internet has fractured into a million tiny communities, each catering to ever-more-specific tastes. Those smaller communities and sites can provide a deeper sense of belonging to their members. It's an interesting counterpoint to the increasing consolidation of web traffic to only a handful of major platforms that are pushing for a global audience. This allows the user to find a space that truly connects with their desires.
