With the help of nanotechnology, nanoparticles are produced. Cancer nanotechnology is a branch of nanotechnology which deals with the nanomaterials. Nanoparticles are used in various field especially in the medical fields. These nanoparticles are used for therapeutic drug delivery. And these nanoparticles are developed based on liposomes, polymers of synthetic and natural origin, and inorganic particles. These nanoparticles are used to deliver anticancer agents, such as chemotherapy drugs, PDT agents, small molecule inhibitors, and therapeutic genes with their own limitations. Delivering the drugs to the target site or tumors has several limitations as these have to cross through the biological barriers and with the help of nanotechnology and nanoparticles, its can be clearly calculated and deliver the required amount of drug to treat the cancer with very least side effects.
