Endotrophin (mouse)

Description:

Endotrophin is a carboxyl-terminal cleavage product of collagen 6 alpha-3 chain which is produced and released by adipocytes and massively upregulated in malignant tumors of breast, liver colon and pancreas. Endotrophin may serve as sensitive diagnostic marker and valid therapeutic target for treating cancer and ameliorating obesity-induced insulin resistance.
