Beta - Amyloid (16 - 22)

Description:

This is self-assembling Aβ sequence containing two aromatic phenylalanine residues. Aromatic interactions are important in many cases of amyloid formation. This heptapeptide fragment has the capacity of forming typical amyloid fibrils in vitro.
