Iberiotoxin (IbTX)

Description:

Iberiotoxin (IbTx) shows 68% sequence homology with charybdotoxin, another scorpion-derived peptidyl toxin. Iberiotoxin can be used to selectively study the function of the high conductance Ca²⁺ activated K⁺ channel.
