Peptide YY (human)

Description:

PYY is a 36-amino acid regulatory gut hormone present in endocrine cells in the intestine. This peptide acts both as an endocrine and a paracrine agent. PYY (3-36), a Y2 receptor agonist, can inhibit food intake.
