Team Description
Our iGEM team consist of nine students from the biology, chemistry and physics departments of the Technical University of Kaiserslautern in Germany, supported by three academic instructors of Microbiology and Biotechnology. We are passionate about our subjects and the challenges iGEM presents us. Since we are second iGEM team of our university and Rheinland-Pfalz, our aim is to continue to establish iGEM at TUK with our project to modify green algae to functionally degrade diclofenac in wastewater.
