Team Description
We are a team of 10 students, from Del Norte High School in San Diego, California. Our project goal is to use E.Coli to produce siRNA that can inhibit the molecule sflt-1( a molecule that inhibits angiogenesis) during pregnancy, causing preeclampsia (a hypertensive pregnancy complication) due to its over expression. Last year our team won a silver medal for our project.
