Team Description
We are the iGEM Team TU Darmstadt 2020. We are 21 students studying Biomolecular Engineering, Chemistry, Biology and Electrical Engineering. With this year\'s project, we aim to contribute to the fight against environmental pollution. Therefore, we are focusing on the problem of water pollution caused by micropollutants (e.g. pharmaceuticals, chemicals or pesticides). We aim to develop a modular bacterial strain that can neutralize many different pollutants with various exchangeable enzymes.
