Team Description
We, the iGEM Team Aachen 2020, are 14 highly motivated students of biology, biotechnology, physics and computer science. Above all, we want to use the interdisciplinarity of our team and the individual skills of the team members to turn our project idea into a successful project. With the support of Prof. Wiechert, Prof. Schwaneberg and Prof. Blank, our goal is the development of a bioreactor which is capable of cyclic ATP-Regeneration. As the ATP molecule is a main energy carrier for a lot of biochemical reactions, we hope that our bioreactor will help to reduce the production costs for chemicals and medicines.
