We are the Gaston Day School iGEM Team from Gastonia, North Carolina! This year we plan to use synthetic biology to develop a phytotoxin to help break down Kudzu, an invasive plant that is destroying biodiversity in the southeast region of the US due to its fast-growing and tenacious characteristics.
